A couple of months back we had reported that the handsome hunk, Karan Singh Grover, is all set to venture into digital space with an upcoming web-series to be produced by Ekta Kapoor’s ALT Balaji. Titled Judaai, the series had Palak Jain onboard as the female lead. However, fans will have to wait a little longer as the series has hit a roadblock. Judaai was expected to hit the shooting floor in December 2017 but has taken more time in its pre-production stage. And now the news is coming in that the lead girl, Palak Jain, has quit the series.
According to a report, the actress quit the series as it was not starting on time. She has now decided to focus on a new show instead. A source informs to an entertainment portal, “Palak had been waiting patiently for the series to kick-start. However, she has apparently run out of steam, thus opting to look out for plum TV options. She has apparently managed to bag a daily soap, owing to which she has quit Judaai. This actually leaves the series in a problem situation, considering the delay in the shoot that it has already faced.”
The portal also reveals that Karan Singh Grover’s dates were available for the series from December 2017 to February 2018 only. “Karan is not available for the shoot in March and April. Now with Palak opting out right at the time when the series was to go on the floor, the need to get a new female lead pretty urgently is what the team needs.”
