'Koffee with Karan' Season 4 May Not Be Telecast This Year

Karan Johar 's chat show on TV has been very popular. The audiences were looking forward to watching season 4 of the show but they may have to wait till summer 2013. Earlier the show was scheduled to go on air in June 2012. Karan had also said that his show will be telecast in the 9 pm slot on Sunday after Indian Premier League 5 gets over. But now it has been reported that 'Koffee with Karan' Season 4 has been put on the back burner.

Although, different reasons are being put forth for the show not being aired this year, the chief reason is Karan's involvement with a popular dance show on a competitor channel.

When Karan Johar was contacted, he said, "I am definitely doing 'Koffee With Karan'. We will be on air in summer 2013."

An insider revealed, "Right now, being a judge on a dance based reality show, Karan is endorsing a different channel. As per guidelines, he cannot be on two different shows at the same time". Even a source from the broadcaster of the show has confirmed that the chat show is unlikely to be aired this year.

Some people belonging to the film industry believe that probably Karan Johar has run out of celeb guests to appear on his show. Hence, the show has been postponed to the next year. But this rumour has been rubbished by one of Karan's close friend.

He added, "It's not true. Every year, there are people who say that Karan has no celebrity left on his list. And he comes up with a new one. But yes, the show is not happening anytime soon. Karan is extremely busy with his other television show and his next directorial venture ' Student Of The Year '".

Now whatever be the exact cause of delay, Karan's fans won't get to watch his show this year.
