Legal Notices Ordered Against Bollywood Big Stars for 'Obscene' IPL Acts
Legal notices, based on a petition filed by advocate K Jebakuma at the Madras High Court in Madurai was sent to some Bollywood celebs for performing obscene dance at the opening ceremony of IPL 5 in Chennai, which was held in April.

Legal notices, based on a petition filed by advocate K Jebakuma at the Madras High Court in Madurai was sent to some Bollywood celebs for performing obscene dance at the opening ceremony of IPL 5 in Chennai, which was held in April.
The High Court that ordered the notice on Wednesday in response to the petitioner is in Tamil Nadu. And the celebs that were ordered the legal notice include Amitabh Bachchan , Salman Khan , Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor .
American pop star Katy Perry, who had performed at the inaugural show of the IPL 5, has also been sent legal notice.
K Jebakumar, the petitioner is an advocate. He has alleged that the dance and performances of the celebs were "obscene and lascivious, appealing to prurient interest".
The above mentioned case is scheduled to be heard on July 31, 2012.
