Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Heroine' Theatrical Trailer Gets 'A' Certificate
The theatrical trailer of the National Award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar's much–awaited film ‘Heroine’ has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an A-certificate.

The theatrical trailer of the National Award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar 's much awaited film ' Heroine ' has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an A-certificate.
Madhur is not at all surprised at getting 'A' certificate for the theatrical trailer as he had already expected it. He has clarified by tweeting that the 'A' certificate is not for the film but is for its theatrical trailer.
The filmmaker tweeted: "A small correction. The "A" certificate is for the theatrical promo of? #Heroine, not the film. Edit of the film still in process."
' Heroine ' is Madhur Bhandarkar 's ambitious project, which explores the behind-the-scenes life of an actress in the Indian film industry. The movie stars Kareena Kapoor in the central role. It also features Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles.
The movie is slated for release on September 14, 2012.
