Mahesh Bhatt happy the way Alias's career took off

Recently, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt visited the city of Varanasi and attended a management seminar. While addressing the media, Mahesh informed that his next production, to be directed by Mohit Suri will be shot at the spiritual city at the end of this year. The story is about a local lad who migrates to the city and faces the competitive world of metro, for which he will bring forth new faces. He rubbished all assertions about Alia Bhatt being a part of the movie. He told that at the time of Pooja Bhatt he was the director and she was selected because she best fit into the roles of his movies. But now other directors have taken over and that he wants his kids to ride their bike on their own. He also mentioned that he was too happy the way Alias's career has taken shape. He feels proud to be pronounced and known as Alia's Father.

Talking more about his children, Bhatt told that his son Rahul Bhatt had a liberty to express his own views on his dad and that he can understand how Rahul feels after him abandoning Rahul's mom emotionally. Though, financially he supported her. I can understand how he felt as I felt the same after my father did the same. He has his own ideas of making movies and has rejected many of our offers. Right now he is happy being a fitness trainer and everything between us is settled. Mahesh also shared that he was not only in the city for lectures but also came to shoot a documentary along with Mathew Dougherty on Indian Thinker U.G Krishnamurthy. He explained that Varanasi was a must for shoot as no holy dialogues were possible without Kashi, the epicenter of Hindu Thought. They took a boat and went to different Ghats for shoot.
