In the season of biopics, the diva Priyanka Chopra will soon be coming up with the biopic of Indian boxer Mary Kom. But, the filmmaker Shoojit Sircar has already done it and in just three minutes.
Recently, Shoojit Sircar shot an advertisement with the boxing champion Mary Kom, in which Kom got an opportunity to present her life story in front of the camera. And she did it in just three minutes, reportedly. Sircar talked about this by saying that "It was a remarkably inspiring three-day shoot. Though it's an ad, we got Mary Kom to feature in it. And we encapsulated every phase of her life from her childhood struggle for a decent life to her hard-working teens to her current status as boxing champ and a home-maker, we got all of this into the script in just a three-minutes film,"
After spending her childhood in poverty, Mary Kom became the global sports icon. The lady was natural in front of the camera, as per the reports. Talking about his experience of shooting with Mary Kom, the filmmaker Sircar revealed that "It was such a pleasure shooting with Mary Kom. She came to the sets with no attitude or fixed notions. She surrendered to whatever the script demanded. She was fully there with me, collaborating and participating like a true member of the crew,"
