Rockstar actress Nargis Fakhri has got her dialogues dubbed in almost all the films she has acted in Bollywood. But now, she has herself sung the Punjabi chorus in her singing debut single “Habitaan Vigaad Di”.
This song features Nargis as a fantasy chick, she has particularly voiced the Punjabi vocals in the chorus. While, the main song is crooned by Parichay, who has earlier sang “Aaj Phir Pinne Ki Tamannah Hai” from Loveshuddha. To get this track a west meets east feel, they have got mainstream Canadian rapper Kardinal on board.
As per the sources, Nargis chose her favorite song from the two sent by Parichay. She was keen not just to feature in it, but to voice it as well. She gave over 100 takes for the main chorus line to get that typical Punjabi accent. For which, Parichay became her tutor correcting the pronunciation of the very word.
Nargis will be again teaming up with Parichay for their second song, where she will have more vocals to voice. In “Habitaan Vigaad Di”, she has just sung the chorus. Nargis was last seen in Banjo alongside Riteish Deshmukh in the musical drama.
