Critically acclaimed movie 'Paan Singh Tomar' won the National award for the Best Feature Film of 2012 at the 60th National Film Awards announced on Monday.
Critically acclaimed movie 'Paan Singh Tomar' won the National award for the Best Feature Film of 2012 at the 60th National Film Awards announced on Monday.
Other than this, 'Vicky Donor' won the award for best popular film providing wholesome entertainment. Hindi Film 'Chittagong' received the Indira Gandhi Award for the best debut film. While, 'OMG Oh My God!' writers Bhavesh Mandalia and Umesh Shukla received the award for best adapted screenplay, Sujoy Ghosh won The Best Screenplay writer (original) for 'Kahaani'.
Bollywood Actress Parineeti Chopra received a special mention for her performance in 'Ishaqzaade' for her convincing delineation of a daredevil girl and so did Tannishtha Chatterjee for 'Dekh Indian Circus'.
A special Jury award was received by Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the films 'Kahaani', 'Gangs Of Wasseypur', 'Dekh Indian Circus' and 'Talaash'.
Both, Shankar Mahadevan got the best male playback singer award and Prasoon Joshi got an award for best lyrics for the song 'Bolo Na' from the movie 'Chittagong'.
