Nawaz Gains Cross-Border Popularity!
Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's role of a reporter in 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' which was based on a real reporter of Pakistan has helped him gain cross-border popularity.

Endowed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui who was last seen in the blockbuster film ' Bajrangi Bhaijaan ' has gained cross border popularity. His character in the film that was modelled on a real life journalist from Pakistan named Chand Nawab, has been loved and appreciated not only in the country but also across borders.
The actor has been receiving praises from Pakistan, Sri Lanka and interestingly, he also received a call from Chand Nawab himself. Chand Nawab apparently thanked the actor to make him a recognisable face in his country. Siddiqui is thrilled by the response he has received for his performance and hopes that this will give a boost to all his comparatively smaller films.
