Last seen in Shashank Khaitan 's Badrinath Ki Dulhania, actress Alia Bhatt is now coming up with her next film, Raazi , wherein she will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. Also starring extremely talented Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, the movie has been directed by Meghna Gulzar . Today, the makers unveiled some new posters from the movie, and they have certainly piqued our interest manifolds. Have a look.
In Raazi , Alia plays a Kashmiri spy who is married to a Pakistani man. The film is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel, Calling Sehmat, and explores the social complexities during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971.
Raazi has been shot on real locations in Jammu & Kashmir, and Punjab. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Junglee Pictures , the film is scheduled to release on May 11, 2018. The full-fledged trailer of the film will be rolled out tomorrow.
