Pankaj Tripathi is one such actor who needs the least introduction. Be it a full-fledged role or a fleeting one, he leaves his mark with every performance. Though the actor started his career in 2004, he came into limelight with Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur franchise (2012) and since then, there has been no looking back. After impressing the masses with his acting skills in Hindi films, the Newton actor will now be seen in his first international project. The film is titled, Mango Dreams, and it is helmed by John Upchurch. Though the movie had its international release back in 2016, it will now release on Netflix. Till date, the film has gone through numerous international film festivals and has won multiple awards.
In Mango Dreams, Pankaj Tripathi plays a Muslim autorickshaw driver who forms an unlikely friendship with a Hindu doctor (Ram Gopal Bajaj) as they cross India in search of the doctor’s childhood home. The film also stars Samir Kochhar (Ram Gopal’s son)
The film is releasing on 15th March on Netflix UK and will be making its way to Indian homes soon.
Pankaj, who appeared in a total of 7 movies last year, has multiple releases this year as well. The actor will be seen in Rajkummar Rao’s Stree, then he has Rajinikanth’s Kaala. He will also be seen in Sushant Singh Rajput’s Drive and will have a titular role in Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30.
