Kriti Sanon conferred Dada Saheb Phalke Award for Bareilly Ki Barfi!
The actress is currently shooting for her forthcoming film Arjun Patiala with Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Sharma.
Though Kriti Sanon has been a part of the Hindi film industry for almost 4 years now, it was the runaway success of her last release Bareilly Ki Barfi which catapulted her to the zenith of stardom in Bollywood. After the success of Bareilly Ki Barfi, the actress won many awards and accolades for her exceptional performance in the movie and the latest award that has just landed into her lap in the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award. Yes, after Ranveer Singh, it has been learned that Kriti will also be receiving the award.
Kriti won rave reviews for playing the vivacious Bitti in the Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directorial, who hails from the small town of Bareilly. Besides Sanon, the movie also featured Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles.
Sanon will be seen next in Arjun Patiala opposite Diljit Dosanjh. She has also been cast for Womaniya and Housefull 4.
