The famous and prestigious 'Limca Book Of Records' has honered the Indian cine stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Jahnu Barua, Mike Pandey and many others with the 'People of the Year' award. Recently, the Limca Book Records 2013 was launched by the Information and Broadcasting Minister of India Manish Tiwari. The Minister launched the list with the President and CEO of Coco Cola India , Atul Singh, and Editor or Limca Book of Records, Vijaya Ghose.
These awards were given in a consent of the 100 years of Indian Cinema. This edition was the 24th edition of Limca Book of Records. These awards also paid a tribute to the late legends of Indian Cinema like Jaspal Bhatti, Dev Anand, Yash Chopra and Shammi Kapoor and many others.
The famous and skilled actress Shabana Azmi who also received the award expressed that, such felicitation encourages her to give her best in whatever task she does. She also said that Indian cinema is on a verge of completing 100 years and she is proud to be a small part of it. She also said that the Limca Book of records is celebrating the 100 years of Indian cinema. She thanked them to give her the award. Shabana who has received the national award for five times said that completing 100 years is a landmark for Indian cinema.
