Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra is presently busy in Hollywood series 'Quantico' and reportedly, Priyanka has given voice to a walking talking robotic elephant of PETA called Ellie that will go on a school tour across US, Europe and India. The American animal rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animal's new campaign intends to assist in educating children regarding elephants and captivity through Ellie as kids have a natural empathy for the animals.

Ellie also talks about the physical punishment endured by her at the hands of circus handlers. Then she speaks about her happy life at a sanctuary post her rescue. As per the reports, around 3,000 elementary schools students have observed visit of Ellie and they were much happy to meet her. One of the school students even asked that "Why don't circuses just use robots instead?"

Talking about this, Chopra said "Ellie is teaching kids that elephants belong in the wild with their families and that they suffer greatly in captivity in which they're kept chained, forced to learn tricks and deprived of all the things that make them happy, like family and freedom," The actress further added that "I'm pleased to join with PETA in bringing Ellie to life for children everywhere,"
