A model, Bollywood diva and now a UNICEF goodwill ambassador Priyanka Chopra is optimistic at developing a safe environment for the Indian girls.
The glamorous Priyanka expressed her views at an event held by United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and Delhi Daredevils (An IPL team). UNICEF is a part of 'dare-to-care' campaign in association with Osian's auction house. The event was all about supporting the moral purpose of girls' safety.
The 30 year old actress commenced the event by chanting lines from Tagore's popular poem 'Where the mind is without fear'.
At the event, Priyanka elaborated mentioning that she hopes to formulate an environment physically safer for girls, especially in rural communities. The actress thinks that this is the time to do something better for the society. The fearless actress also said that they are attempting to educate parents pertaining to protection of their daughters as well as help their boys to realize women in a better way.
