December 6 saw Prabhu Deva 's action-drama ' R... Rajkumar ' hitting the screens with lots of action and comedy stuff. Although the movie received maximum number of negative reviews, the Shahid Kapoor , Sonakshi Sinha starrer delighted the audience with its entertainment quotient.
After many flops at the box-office, Shahid Kapoor has got a reason to be happy with this flick. As per the reports, ' R... Rajkumar ' collected Rs. 45.77 crore worldwide in the first weekend of its release. It would not be wrong, if we will say this film was the biggest opener for Shahid till date. The net collections in the opening weekend of the film were Rs. 30.59 crore. The movie grossed Rs. 39.77 crore in India over the first weekend of its release. Rs. 6 crore was the collection of the film overseas. The film was released across 2900 screens in the nation and captured 300 screens overseas. After witnessing a good weekend, ' R... Rajkumar ' saw a steady Monday at the box-office and garnered Rs. 5.65 crore at the domestic front.
The movie is expected to sail safe in its further path with good numbers.
