Raai Laxmi blames 'Julie 2' failure on promotional content!

Gorgeous actress Raai Laxmi tried her best to make a mark in Tollywood and Kollywood with her films. However, even after starring in almost 50 movies down south, she could not get the kind of success she had hoped for. When things did not go her way, the sizzling actress decided to enter Bollywood with an erotic thriller film titled Julie 2, which was a sequel to the 2004 film Julie featuring popular Hindi film actress Neha Dhupia in the lead role. Directed by Deepak Shivdasani, the film hit screens on 24th November after being postponed a couple of times. However, crushing all hopes, Julie 2 bombed at the box office. Dismayed by the colossal failure of the film, the actress has blamed it on promotional content of the film

The actress believes that the film failed because of the promotional content which, according to her was, delusive. After watching the first teaser and trailer, the audience assumed it as an adult film flooded with oodles of skin-show. However, the audience felt cheated when they did not find such stuff in the film.

Writing on the wall is clear that Raai's first Hindi film has flopped. However, the actress feels it was a great learning experience for her and she is quite confident that it doesn't impact her career in a big way.
