Radhika Apte is one such actress who has always given priority to Indie cinema over commercial films. In the past, she has impressed us with movies like Parched, Manjhi – The mountain Man, Phobia and many more but all these movies were made on a small budget. For the first time she appeared in an out and out commercial film, Pad Man, and it became a raging hit. Though the movie majorly revolves around Akshay Kumar and his struggle, Radhika won millions of hearts for her role of Gayatri Chauhan as Akshay’s wife. Her role of a rural woman has poured love and praises on her and she is just overwhelmed by the response. Ever since the film has released Radhika's phone has not stopped ringing as everyone has been congratulating her for strong performance in the film.
