Raj & DK to helm the official Hindi remake of Korean film ‘A Hard Day’!

After their last outing A Gentleman with Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez, filmmakers Raj & DK are all set to helm their next project. Both have signed an agreement with Kross Pictures, the renowned international film production house, to co-produce and direct the official Hindi remake of Korean Blockbuster A Hard Day. It will be Kross Pictures third Bollywood outing after the critically acclaimed TE3N and the upcoming Hindi remake of Miracle In Cell No. 7, to be directed by Umesh Shukla.

A Hard Day went to the 2014 Cannes Film Festival in the Director’s Fortnight segment and received an unprecedented response. It is rated as one of the best Korean action thrillers. Currently, the makers are busy scripting the Hindi screenplay of the film. Once that is done, the makes will announce the star cast of the movie. The film is expected to go into production in 2018.

Speaking about the film, the director duo, Raj & DK stated, “A Hard Day is a fast-paced thriller with unrelenting suspense and a great dose of humour. It will be a very interesting challenge to adapt this film into Hindi. We hope to bring a unique spin and contribute to this well-made thriller.
