On one hand this news has brought smile and relief on the faces of the lyricists and the writers and on the other hand this news has made many music companies upset.

This bill includes the right to visually impaired, right of the author and the music composer. Now only the music companies or the film production houses will not be the one to gain profit if any song becomes hit. A part of the revenue would also go to the lyricists and the writers in the form of royalties.

This bill was supported by Rajya Sabha member Jaya Bhaduri (who belongs to film fraternity) and Arun Jaitely of BJP, Kapil Sibbal of Congress and Left members.
