Ranbir Kapoor discarded Rishi Kapoor’s statement for Anurag Basu!

It was a shock itself to see Jagga Jasoos, the mystery musical adventure romantic comedy film to underperform at the box office, despite it was well received by the critics. Though it is blamed primarily to current slug phase of Bollywood Box Office for such low perforce! And it was more tense loss for Ranbir Kapoor who have also co-produced Jagga Jasoos in association with UTV Motion Pictures. But the whole Bollywood and its fandom was stunned when veteran actor Rishi Kapoor took to the media to literally slams director of the film, Anurag Basu, and called him irresponsible director and partially blamed his weak and disorganized direction to be the cause of failure for the film.

But when Ranbir Kapoor at the trailer launch event of Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film Bhoomi was asked what he has to say about the whole controversy and he responded, “Well, my father is an emotional man and whatever he said was coming from there, and I do not necessarily agree with what my father said. But from the beginning, I and Anurag Basu were aware of what we are doing and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, but I do not look at it as a failure. I look at it as learning lesson!”

Indeed it was trashing to bare the losses of crores in a flop film, but blaming the director solely for the failure on a public platform isn’t fair too! But it is great to see Ranbir Kapoor being so straightforward and accepting to about the failure of Jagga Jasoos!
