Ranbir Kapoor joins the league of Bollywood gangsters

The latest trend in Bollywood is of gangster flicks and many prominent actors are essaying the roles of gangsters. Now, Ranbir Kapoor too will join the league of these actors.

Till date, many prominent actors have essayed the gangsters in the Hindi films. Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi played the gangsters in ' Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai '. Manoj Bajpai played the famous Bhiku Mhatre in ' Satya '. Sanjay Dutt 's gangster from ' Vaastav ' is still remembered by the audience and Vivek Oberoi played a gangster in ' Company ' and ' Shootout At Lokhandwala '. John Abraham played gangster Manya Surve and Sonu Sood played Dilawar Imtiaz Haksar in ' Shootout At Wadala '.

Now, Akshay Kumar is going to essay the character of a gangster in ' Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara '. Following the trend,now papa Kapoor i.e Rishi Kapoor will be seen as a dreadful gangster Goldman in Nikhil Advani 's crime thriller ' D-Day '. Soon the beta Kapoor i.e. Ranbir Kapoor will also join the bandwagon of gangsters.

Junior RK Ranbir Kapoor will essay the role of a ganglord for the first time in his career in an upcoming film which will commence the shoot very soon. The film may be Anurag Kashyap 's ' Bombay Velvet ' which also features Anushka Sharma . Seems like essaying a gangster on the silver screen is a new trend in Bollywood these days.
