Ranbir Kapoor to lose weight, grow hair for Sanjay Dutt's biopic

Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is prepping hard for the role in upcoming biopic of Sanjay Dutt. The details regarding this biopic have been kept under the wrap. The lead actor Ranbir Kapoor will be shedding his weight and growing his hair for Sanjay Dutt's biopic.

"Ranbir Kapoor has started prepping for the film. The actor has been advised to change his look by shedding weight and growing his hair, in keeping with Sanjay’s look in the ’80s and ’90s for films like Khalnayak, Saajan, Kartoos. The director was keen to use artificial hair, but Ranbir refused to do so and agreed to grow his hair. The film will go on floors in the next three months.” told a close source.

Shooting for the biopic of Sanjay Dutt began on February 25. This film will be co-produced by Sanjay and it will depict the roller coaster life of the actor. Sanjay's wife Manyata wanted Ranbir to essay his role in the biopic and the Kapoor scion, who has been Sanjubaba fan, agreed to do the same. Ranbir and Sanjay used to workout together in the gym.
