Ranveer Singh stands by Padmavati in this grim time!
Actor Ranveer Singh says he supports Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the film Padmavati 200 percent.

The troubles and controversies surrounding Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Padmavati has taken an ugly turn. The members of Karni Sena have threatened that they would behead Bhansali and chop off Deepika Padukone ’s nose if they released the film. Now, the makers have delayed the film and it will be released sometime next year. Several stars including Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and others have shown support for the film. Film’s lead stars Deepika, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have stood by and supported the film completely.
In a recent media interaction, Ranveer spoke about the film and said, “I am 200 percent with the film and I stand by it as well as Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Given that it is very sensitive time right now, I have been specifically asked not to say anything. Whatever official communication with regards to the film needs to be made, you will receive it from the producers.”
“Thank you very much for coming out today and before some ruckus happens here, I need to get out of here,” he added.
