Sanjay Leela Bhansali 's period drama ' Bajirao Mastani ' stars Ranveer Singh , Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the lead. Actor Ranveer Singh shared his experience about working on the film, and the transformation and preparations he went through, in an exclusive interaction with a leading daily.
Ranveer underwent serious mental as well as physical transformation for the film. He stated that, Bhansali was open to the idea of him using a prosthetic bald pate for the movie, but he shaved his head to make the character look authentic. During the initial stages he put on a fake moustache as he had no time to grow one, but then he suffered an injury and got time to grow a real one. Ranveer expressed that working on the film has been cathartic for him. He went through a lot of personal and professional ups and downs during the process. It helped him learn a lot about himself.
