It seems that director Sajid Khan is on cloud nine these days as he is passionately remaking " Himmatwala ", his favorite movie of 80's. The film which Sajid had literally seen 30 times in theatre exactly 30 years before from now, had a Song "Naino Mein Sapna" pictured on Jeetendra and Sridevi and sung by legendary singer Kishor Kumar. Now, with the remake the song is picked and re-recorded by the music director Jodi Sajid-Wajid with Kishorda's son Amit Kumar who is lending his voice this time. They have maintained the feel of the song in sync with modern music. Shreya Ghoshal will be singing the female part which was previously sung by Lata Mangeshkar . Sajid Khan is very happy with this fact. The director shared that , for him, recreating 'Naino mien Sapna" was like being a part of history. It has never happened before that, the son sings the same song sung by his father in the same style. As soon as Amit started singing it appeared like Kishorda himself came to sing the song.

The latest version is shot on Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah Bhatia .
