Running Shaadi drops “.com†at the last moment!
Following the Bombay High Court's order the maker of Running Shaadi dropped “Shaadi.com†word from the film and its promotional material.
Tapsee Pannu and Amit Sadh starrer rom-com is all set to hit the theaters this Friday on February 17. Just few days before the release, the film has gone through a drastic change. Reportedly, it has dropped the suffix out of the title. Now, it’s called as “Running Shaadi”.
Popular matrimonial site Shaadi.com had filed a case against Crouching Tiger Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd and Rising Sun Films for using it's brand name in their film’s title – Running Shaadi.com. Therefore, as per Bombay High Court’s petition the producers had to change the film’s Twitter handle to ‘@running_shaadi’, besides modifying the trailer, posters and banners.
Running Shaadi is directed by Amit Roy.
