The God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar rendered a \'MARD\' poem in Marathi to Farhan Akhtar. The poem is inspired from \'MARD\', a social campaign started by Farhan Akhtar.

Farhan Akhtar is nowadays occupying Bollywood news section of almost every media form over the grand success of his recent sprinter's flick, ' Bhaag Milkha Bhaag '. And now, there is one more reason to be on a great high for Farhan, is that the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar had rendered a 'MARD' poem in Marathi for the actor. Apparently, 'MARD' (Men Against Rape and Discrimination) is a joint social campaign initiated by Farhan Akhtar along with eminent B-Town fashion photographer, Atul Kasbekar . This noble cause is very close to the heart of Farhan and it aims at promoting social awareness against rape and any kind of discrimination against women. This initiative took birth after Pallavi Purkayastha, a Mumbai-based lawyer, was sexually assaulted and brutally killed by her building watchman in August 2012.
Well, it is really a big thing that Sachin Tendulkar renders a special 'MARD' poem to Farhan!
