Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor to play the lead in 'Shuddhi'
Karan Johar's ambitious project 'Shuddhi' has finally locked Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor as its lead pair.

Karan Johar 's forthcoming ambitious project ' Shuddhi ' reserved its space in the gossip columns recently over the news updates regarding the finalisation of its lead star cast. After Hrithik Roshan opted out of this project, many A-list star names were making the rounds of the news updates.
Going by the latest report, Karan Johar 's upcoming period drama ' Shuddhi ' has got its lead pair. Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor are going to play the lead roles in ' Shuddhi '. Kareena was supposed to play the lead in the film, however she changed her decision in the meanwhile due to some reasons. But now, Kareena has been finalised as the female lead in this reincarnation tale.
Produced by Dharma Productions and directed by Karan Malhotra , the film ' Shuddhi ' will release in the year 2015.
