Salman Khan supports Sanjay Leela Bhansali amidst the oppositions!
Salman Khan has openly come out in support of Padmavati saying that the film should be given a fair chance.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Padmavati has faced a lot of obstacles, controversies, and oppositions citing a baseless rumor. Bhansali released a video in which he once again clears the air and pushes aside the rumors. The film team including the lead stars Deepika Padukone , Shahid Kapoor , and Ranveer Singh have made the film with a lot of effort, responsibility, and sincerity. But, the Rajput groups and some BJP members are adamant about the release. Amidst the chaos, Salman Khan has come out in support of the film. He has shared some words in support of the filmmaker and the film.
Salman Khan said in a statement, “I believe we have censor board (Central Board of Film Certification) who will take the decision. Sanjay Leela Bhansali makes lovely films and there is nothing wrong with his movies. Heroines look good in his films. There is no vulgarity or disgust in his films. You should see his prior track record that he would never portray anything in the bad light.”
The actor added, “No decision should be made without seeing the film Padmavati .” Salman has worked with Bhansali in films like Khamoshi, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, and Saawariya.
The upcoming film stars Deepika Padukone in the title role of Queen Padmini, Shahid Kapoor plays Raja Ratan Singh while Ranveer Singh essays Alauddin Khilji. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions, Padmavati is slated to release on 1st December 2017.
