Salman Khan to March with Paramilitary Troops for Half-Marathon in New Delhi

Salman Khan, who recently tasted success once again at the box office with ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, in which he has played a raw agent will be running a half marathon with the paramilitary Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) troops in New Delhi next month.

Salman Khan , who recently tasted success once again at the box office with ' Ek Tha Tiger ', in which he has played a raw agent will be running a half marathon with the paramilitary Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) troops in New Delhi next month.

The actor had also recorded a promotional clip a few days back in which he appealed the youth to join the run. This half marathon popularly known as the ITBP Run for the Nation will take place on October 7. The half-marathon run will start from the Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium and Salman Khan will be flagging off the run.

Salman Khan is likely to be joined by a host of other celebrities and sport-stars along with the Olympic bronze medal winner Yogeshwar Dutt at the half-marathon.

Salman is expected to run a few miles with the forces to support the cause that youth of the country should join the security forces in large numbers.

The half-marathon taking place on October 7 will be of 21.09 kms while the shorter version will be of 3kms.
