Saqib Saleem feels Rajkummar Rao is an inspiration to him!

Young and talented Saqib Saleem, who still is considered a newbie in the industry, is slowly getting big banner films. Last seen in a horror flick ‘Dobaara: See your evil’, Saqib will soon be seen sharing the screen with megastar Salman Khan in 'Race 3'. But through his journey to stardom, he feels actor Rajkummar Rao as an inspiration. According to Saqib, Rajkummar’s journey so far and especially what he did last year is something out of the league. The actor has all praises for Rajkummar and speaking with a leading daily, he said, "He got to play two characters and Rajkummar did them both convincingly. I can't imagine anybody else doing it. When I see some films I feel 'Main bhi ise aise hi karta', but when I see Rajkummar I feel I can't do what he has done. He had a wonderful year in 2017 with films like 'Newton', 'Bareilly Ki Barfi', 'Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana' and 'Trapped'. He has really worked hard to reach where he is today."

Saqib added, "Usually heroes are perfect, and they can do no wrong, but Rajkummar has excelled in playing the flawed hero."

Saqib is a 29-year-old model turned actor and so far has appeared in only 6 films. Though he never got the chance to do a glamorous role, he has impressed everyone with his every role. And we guess it’s his hard work that has landed him roles with talents like Taapsee Pannu, Salman and Anil Kapoor.

On the work front, his first release of the year is ‘Dil Juunglee’ opposite Taapsee which is scheduled to release on 16th February and then he will appear in a negative role in the biggest film of his career, ‘Race 3’, which is slated to hit the screens in June.
