Shaan gives up singing, forays into acting
The versatile singer Shaan declared his decision of quitting singing. Now, Shaan intends to foray into acting in Bollywood films. He is busy with shoot of his first film.

The well-known Bollywood singer Shantanu Mukherjee, who is originally known as Shaan , had come up with a decision about his singing career. Reportedly, the ace singer Shaan is now on the verge of bidding adieu to playback singing and his overall singing career. Shaan had taken a conscious decision of venturing into acting and dancing world. The reason he mentioned is that he did not intend to wait for phone calls for work. Shaan also performed a dance in a television reality show, Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa 6.
Shaan revealed the views about late diversion in terms of his career by saying that it was a conscious decision of foraying into acting and dancing arena, as waiting for phone calls for work was just impossible. He also mentioned that he has done his work till now as a singer and earned enough respect and fame for it. After quitting singing, Shaan aims to venture into the things, which he always wanted to do, he admitted.
Now, the singer will turn actor on the silver screen. He had earlier tried his hands on singing and dancing and now he is looking forward to his step in the Bollywood world with a comic-caper 'Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya'. He is already having kitty full of various projects and currently, he is packed with shooting for his debut film.
