Shah Rukh Khan to star in 'Shuddhi'?

The recent news update revealed that Hrithik Roshan has walked out of Karan Johar 's much-talked about next production venture ' Shuddhi '. And now, the buzz says that Shah Rukh Khan may replace Hrithik Roshan in the film ' Shuddhi ' to play the lead role.
The touted reincarnation tale ' Shuddhi ' holds a special significance for the filmmaker Karan Johar . It will be directed by Karan Malhotra . In the meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor , who was supposed to play the female lead in the film, also opted out from the film. The news were out about Deepika Padukone to play the female lead in ' Shuddhi '. Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh were also on the minds of filmmakers to play the male lead.
Karan Johar recently tweeted "' Shuddhi ' will release on Friday the 25th of December, 2015...the Lead cast will be announced shortly,"
