As the film ' Piku ' gears up for its release, the star cast of Shoojit Sircar 's family drama including actors Amitabh Bachchan , Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan speak about their film and what makes their characters special and relatable in an exclusive media interaction.
The director stated that the universal connect of Piku lies in the way family bonds and relationships have been depicted. Deepika feels that Piku is a very relatable character as she is a multi-tasker and a modern day girl. She believes that there is a Piku in all of us. While Mr. Bachchan spoke in detail about the characters and their virtues, Irrfan feels that the simplicity of the film makes it special.
