Shruti Haasan advised bed rest due to appendicitis surgery

Last Sunday, Shruti Haasan complained of acute stomach pain and hence, was taken to a Hyderabad-based hospital. There, she had to undergo appendicitis surgery, reportedly. Shruti was in Chennai to celebrate new year's eve with her father Kamal Haasan, as per the reports.

A close source revealed that "The next day, she flew to Hyderabad and shot from 6 am till evening. At 8 pm she felt uneasy during a press conference and was rushed to the hospital where she was told to undergo an appendectomy at the earliest." Her father advised her to get the appendicitis operated in Hyderabad itself. Shruti is not supposed to make a sudden movement for the next 8 to 10 days, as per the reports.
