'Singham 3' to be a remake of Malayalam film 'Action Hero Biju'?

With Golmaal Again already fetching a super-hit film tag at the box office, the director-actor duo of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn is now focusing on the third instalment of their another popular film franchise, Singham. Rohit Shetty has time and again said that there will definitely be a Singham 3 but only when he finds a right script for it. And if latest reports are to be believed, the hit filmmaker has finally found a right script to take the franchise forward. Reportedly, Singham 3 will be the Hindi remake of the successful Malayalam movie, Action Hero Biju.

Starring popular Malayalam actors like Nivin Pauly, Anu Emmanuel and Suraj Venjaramoodu, Action Hero Biju hit screens in 2016 and emerged as one of the highest grossing films of the year. The movie was made on a shoestring budget of Rs. 2 crores, but by the time it folded its box office run, it had clocked over Rs. 30 crores. The film had a box office run of over 100 days in Kerala.

It makes it very clear that by remaking Action Hero Biju in Hindi, Rohit Shetty and team are aiming for the same success story here in Bollywood. For further details on the project, we will have to wait for an official confirmation to come.
