Sohail Khan's Driver Crushed an Elderly Woman to Death while Driving Arbaaz's Car

Dhananjaya Pimpale, Sohail Khan 's driver was driving Arbaaz Khan 's car when he crushed a 60-70-year-old pavement dweller to death. The accident occurred at around 11 pm in Bandra on 1st July night. The victim has been identified as Chandan Bala. Police said that although she was rushed to a nearby hospital, she was declared dead.

It has been reported that none of the two brothers, Arbaaz or Sohail were in the car when this untoward incident happened. The driver was alone in the car.

Whenever anyone suffers injury or is crushed to death by a vehicle, the very first question that comes into mind is 'was the driver drunk at the time of accident'? The same question must have come to the public when they first heard or read about the news. In case of Dhananjaya Pimpale's incident, the preliminary investigations as stated by the cops show that the driver was not drunk. However, the medical report on his blood and urine is still awaited.

Cops have arrested Dhananjaya Pimpale on different charges including negligent driving and culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Although Arbaaz Khan was absent when the accident took place, his statement will be recorded as he is the owner of the car.

Salman Khan had got into deep trouble in the year 2002, when he had run over pavement dwellers in Bandra while driving his Land Cruiser. He was booked for rash driving and causing death due to negligence under sections 304, 279 and 388 of the Indian Penal Code.
