Sonakshi Sinha approached by New York based theatre group

A New York based theatre group approached Sonakshi Sinha for a Broadway adaptation of 'The Last Leaf' by O.Henry.

Recently, the shotgun junior Sonakshi Sinha gave a stunning performance in romantic flick ' Lootera '. The story was set in 1950's and depicted a tender romance between a guy and a girl.

Going by the latest news update, Sonakshi Sinha has been approached by a New York based theatre group for a Broadway adaptation of 'The Last Leaf' by O.Henry. A close source stated that "A theatre group based in New York has approached her for a Broadway adaptation of O.Henry's 'The Last Leaf'. She recently got a call from them and is really excited about it. Her acting in ' Lootera ' caught the eye of the theatre group. The play's Broadway run is planned for the coming summer. She will look at her diary and take a call soon."

Apparently, Vikramaditya Motwane 's film ' Lootera ' was loosely based on the acclaimed short story by O.Henry and Sonakshi's whirlwind performance was praised by masses as well as critics. It's such a great thing for Sonakshi, as many Hollywood A-listers perform in the theatre district of New York.
