As fast as Bollywood is upgrading to match up the standards of Hollywood. Same is not the speed of the Censor Board Film Certificate (CBFC), which is still stuck to it ages old rules and regulations. After Arjun Kapoor 's ' Finding Fanny ', his cousin Sonam Kapoor 's ' Khoobsurat ' underwent the threats of censor board.

As per the reports, CBFC had objection with the film's song "Teri Maa Ka Phone" as there is a pause between the phrases "Teri Maa Ka" and "Phone". The examining committee had held the song for 15 days and referred it as inappropriate phrase to be introduced to the audience. After the reevaluation from the Revising Committee, the song was passed just a day before its release.

Khoobsurat 's "Teri Maa Ka Phone" track has attained the hit stature with its catchy lyrics and stylish video. Sneha Khanwalkar 's out of the track composition has worked for the song, along with the melodramatic voices of Priya Panchal and Mouli Dave .
