Sonu Sood to feature in 'Happy New Year'
Buzz-making film \'Happy New Year\' had replaced number of names for a role, which finally was bagged by Sonu Sood. But not many know how he did this, so here\'s an inside story.

Every now and then the names of actors were popping up to get fitted into the star-cast of Farah Khan 's ' Happy New Year '. But finally, flushing out all the speculations, Sonu Sood appeared victorious by bagging a role in the film. But, it wasn't that easy for him to get the last-minute "Yes" from the makers, the actor had his own tactics and attempts in nabbing his dream project to star alongside SRK.
Here goes the tactful story. When Sonu learned about Farah's left-and-right hunt for the actor to star in ' Happy New Year '. He came up to her, reminding about her old forgotten promise!
Yes, you read it right. Highly pleased, Farah had once promised Sonu, a role in Shah Rukh Khan 's film at a reality show, to which he had jokingly asked her to sign on a blank paper.
Although, she didn't turn back from her words. Yet expressed her reluctance in casting him for that particular role. As it demanded, the actor to have an athlete personality, while Sonu had lean physique at that time.
Then, Sonu took it as a challenge and started working up to the lofty hours at gym. There his madness begin, when he kept posting Farah his shirtless pictures. After witnessing his hunger to get on the board of star-cast by hook-or-crook, he finally got the nod on the ninth-day of his regime, right from SRK himself.
With this, came the happy ending to Sonu Sood 's enduring efforts to get in ' Happy New Year '!
