Lastly, the festive flare of Navratri and Durga Pooja was witnessed all around the country, where a number of Bolly celebs added on the glory by visiting pooja pandals. This time, we noticed a new face celebrating the occasion. No, we aren't talking about any debutant. But, it was the chirpy actress Sridevi who celebrated her first ever Durga Pooja at Lucknow.
Sridevi and her filmmaker husband Boney Kapoor were at Lucknow on the last two days of Durga Pooja, to celebrate the festival with Subrata Roy Sahara's family. Sridevi studded the Sahara Shahar Pandal dressing in traditional red and white Bengali Saree, to attend Boron and Sindoor khela with the other ladies.
The highly joyous actress exclaimed that she has never attended Durga pooja anywhere, but since she comes from a family that follows the traditions and cultures closely, so she really enjoyed it!
Hailing from South, Sridevi was far from the grand Durga Pooja occasion originated in Eastern Bengal. But, her family friend, the Saharas, made it possible for her to witness the glory of the mighty Goddess Durga with this auspicious occasion.
