This time the Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the name, which is being considered for making a biopic. The daredevil attitude, batting style and attention-grabbing hairstyle have always been exclusive qualities of the Indian captain. Thus, an official biopic on Dhoni's life is on the way to the silver screen!
This biopic is expected to be helmed by Neeraj Pandey and the rising star Sushant Singh Rajput may play the lead role in this film, as the reports stated. While the cricketer has waved the green signal for this project from his side, Sushant is trying to learn every minute detail about Dhoni like his mannerisms and all by watching his match clippings and interviews. Moreover, Sushant even visited Dhoni's hometown Ranchi and had a word with the people associated with Dhoni in order to garner more info about the cricketer.
The movie will narrate Dhoni's life story from being a small town boy to the Indian cricket team captain. The focus will also be there on Dhoni's betterhalf Sakshi and some moments from his personal life. As the grapevine tweets, Shraddha Kapoor or Deepika Padukone will be playing Sushant's lady love in the film. The early 2015 will see the flick going on floors and will be filmed in India and abroad. The budget of the film is anticipated to be around 95 crore.
