Taapsee Pannu set to work with Rishi Kapoor in Mulk!

After working with the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan in the blockbuster movie Pink, actress Taapsee Pannu is not set to team up with another veteran star Rishi Kapoor. Taapsee and Rishi Kapoor will be collaborating for director-producer Anubhav Sinha’s upcoming film Mulk which is touted to be a thriller. This movie is co-written by Anubhav Sinha and Mushtaq Shiekh. Shiekh is known for his work in films like Om Shanti Om, Gulaab Gang, Ra One, will also be the associate producer of Mulk.

In a media interaction, Founder of Benaras Media Work, Anubhav Sinha, said, “I am doing a thriller after 10 years and this will be quite different from what I have attempted in the past. I’m returning to my roots after so many years. It’s my way of giving back to my hometown and it feels emotionally satisfactory. The plot of the film revolves around true life events. I am yet in the process of closing in on a few more actors.”

Mushtaq Shiekh also opened up about the story of the film, “Some stories resonate with your soul. They are heartfelt yet thrilling. Mulk is one such story -that has a pulsating vibe to it and will have you completely captivated.”

Mulk is a social thriller which is based on true events. It is said to go on floors in October.
