Tabu to star in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Haider'
Vishal Bhardwaj will be soon coming up with the Indian adaptation of \'Hamlet\'. The film will be titled \'Haider\' and Tabu will play a very crucial role in this flick.

Critically acclaimed flick ' Maqbool ' of the year 2003, starring Irrfan Khan and Tabu was the previous attempt at Shakespeare by the ace filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj . And now, Bhardwaj is all set to incept the next big thing, as he will coming up with his next project titled 'Haider'. Once again, the versatile actress Tabu will play a crucial role in this and movie is said to be an Indian version of the famous play 'Hamlet' by William Shakespeare, reportedly.
'Haider' stars Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. Tabu will be essaying a substansive character in the film. A close source revealed that Tabu was the very first choice by Vishal and now, the equation is working out. In the film ' Maqbool ', Tabu portrayed Lady Macbeth's desi version. When asked whether Tabu will be playing the role of Queen Gertrude, the source said that she won't be enacting Queen Macbeth, however, her role as a strong-willed woman will be of utmost significance for taking the story to the next level.
The shooting of 'Haider' will take place in the scenic beauty of Kashmir and the camera will star rolling by the year end.
