Finally, after all the wait, Diljit Dosanjh ’s first look has been unveiled from the upcoming film which is a biopic on the life of ace hockey player Sandeep Singh. Diljit essays the title role while actress Taapsee Pannu stars in a key role in the film. The teaser poster features Diljit along with Sandeep Singh. The teaser comes with the tagline: #DontLetThisStopryPass! The official poster will be revealed tomorrow.
Sandeep Singh was the former captain of the Indian hockey team and faced a major injury in 2006, which made him get out of the team, the champ returned with equal vigor and zest with India becoming one of the top contenders in the later years. The film also stars Angad Bedi in a key role. He plays the role of Sandeep’s elder brother Bikramjeet Singh. All the three actors are prepping up for their parts intensely. The untitled sports biopic drama will be co-produced by Chitrangda Singh along with Sneha Rajani.
Taapsee Pannu who is very excited for the film keeps updating latest info from the sets. Recently, the lady updated the glimpse of her character which is also a hockey player in the film. The film is directed by Shaad Ali. Watch this space for the official poster of the upcoming film.
