Prithviraj Kapoor needs no introduction. This legendary actor, who was honoured by the Indian Government with the Padma Bhushan in 1969 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1971 for his contributions towards Indian cinema, is the great-grandfather of Ranbir Kapoor and has starred in many prominent films including ' Alam Ara ', ' Mughal-E-Azam ', ' Awara ', ' Sikandar ' and ' Kal Aaj Aur Kal '.

There is buzz that Prithviraj Kapoor 's Haveli in old Peshawar, Pakistan will be soon converted into a museum. Yes, Sheikh Amjad Rashid, who is a film distributor in Pakistan is trying to seek permission from the Khyber Pakhtunwala government to renovate this five-storey haveli.

Recently, Sheikh Amjad Rashid was quoted saying that they are planning to carry out renovation at the haveli and turn it into a museum. He said that since the haveli is of historical importance, they want to preserve it. They also wish to invite the Kapoor family and want the museum to be inaugurated by Ranbir Kapoor .
