Even after working in more than 50 films, actor Jimmy Shergill is still an underrated actor of Bollywood. Last appeared as a goon in Anurag Kashyap ’s critically acclaimed film ‘ Mukkabaaz ’, he is all set to be a part of a comedy flick, titled, ‘ Veerey Ki Wedding ’. The quirky-comedy is directed by Asshu Trikha and stars Jimmy, Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda in lead roles. In the trailer, we see that Pulkit is a brat who keeps getting involved in fights but wants to marry Kriti. On the other hand, Jimmy is again playing the role of a single guy but here, he wants his younger brother to get the love of his life, i.e. Kriti and what all drama these two brothers create to get Kriti forms the crux of the story. You cannot miss this comic trailer which also has a brilliant supporting cast. Have a look.
The title seems to be similar with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘ Veere Di Wedding ’, but the makers of this film have legally won the rights to title their film, ‘ Veerey Ki Wedding ’.
Apart from the leads, the film also stars Satish Kaushik , Supriya Karnik , Rajesh Bakshi , and Yuvika Choudhary in pivotal roles. Made under the banner of Panorama Studios, it is scheduled to hit the silver screen on 09th March 2018, clashing with Urvashi Rautela ’s erotic-thriller, ‘ Hate Story IV ’.
