The Bachchan family was shocked at the incident that took place on Friday at their much guarded house 'Jalsa'. A thief had broken-in their house. The 20-year guy not only broke-in but also reached the sensitive area and pocketed in INR 8000 from a drawer!

While trying to escape, the burglar was seen by a domestic help of the Bachchan family, who raised an alarm and the security guard rushed in to nab the guy. The thief, identified as Dileep Kewat has been handed over to the Juhu police, who have registered a case of house-breaking against him and have taken him into 14 days remand.

Referring to the incident, Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog, "Spent some anxious moments yesterday since we had a break in! The guy was caught and is with the police now under investigation. Seems like a professional, for he had entered the most sensitive area of the house, Jalsa."

He added, "Cops and security are in over drive now. In the end nothing is secure, irrespective of how much precaution one takes."

This alarming incident occurred on last Friday. This incident must have alarmed the Bachchan family and compelled them to be extra cautious about the security. The incident also raises questions about the duty of the security men, who are 24 X 7 on guard at 'Jalsa'.
