Tiger Shroff's 'Munna Michael' becomes first Hindi film to screen in Russia after two decades!
Tiger Shroff's next film Munna Michael has been selected for screening in Russia, after the screening of Amitabh Bachchan's Ajooba in the country two decades ago.
Tiger Shroff and Niddhi Agrewal's forthcoming film Munna Michael is creating a lot of buzz not just in India but also on international level. The film, which also features talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in an important role, has been selected for screening in Russia. The news becomes even more special as Munna Michael will be the first Hindi film in two decades to get screened in Russia. The last film which was screened there was Amitabh Bachchan's Ajooba (1991). Since then no other Bollywood film has been screened in Russia.
Confirming the development to a tabloid, Kumar Ahuja, President Business Development, Eros International, says, "We are happy to announce the release of Munna Michael in Russia. The film has mainstream appeal that transcends language and geographical boundaries."
Fan following of Tiger is increasing by leaps and bounds not just in India but in some other parts of the world also. As per insiders, Tiger Shroff and his father Jackie Shroff enjoy a huge fan following in Russia, that is why the film has been selected for a Russian screening.
Directed by Sabbir Khan, Munna Michael is set for 21st July release in India.
